Amit Swami Assistant Secretary - General of ABBF,Secretary General of SABBF & Executive Director of Indian Bodybuilding Federation (IBBF) had a special meeting early April with the President of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) Hon'ble Mr Suresh Kalmadi at IOA office New Delhi.

Swami updated Mr Kalmadi about the latest circular of MABGOC and OCA to all the National Olympic Committees in Asia that all NOC should recognise only those Bodybuilding Federations which are affiliated and recognised by Asian Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation(ABBF) which will only be entitled to participate in 2nd Asian Beach Games at Oman, Muscat in December 2010.

During this meeting Amit Swami on behalf of Mr. Paul Chua Secretary General of the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation ( WBPF) and Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation ( ABBF) presented ABBF Golden Jubilee Pin to Mr Suresh Kalmadi. This discussion ended on a positive and encouraging note.
