U.P Bodybuilding and Fitness Association organized a selection trial for the World Men's Bodybuilding Championship to be held at Dubai from 3rd to 7th November 2009. The selection trial took place at Shobhit University Meerut. India's best bodybuilders participated and the following bodybuilder are selected for Indian Bodybuilding Team. Mr. Vitendera Kumar - U.P Mr. Daljit Singh - Punjab Police Mr. Hira Lal - Punjab Police Mr. Ankur Sharma- Haryana Mr. Dheeraj Jaiswal - Haryana Mr. Rahul Bisth - Uttaranchal Mr. Mukesh Thakur - Uttaranchal ABBF Assistant Secretary General Mr. Amit Swami, IBBF President Mr. Baba Madhok, IBBF General Secretary Mr. G.S Nayak gave best wishes to the selected team. Chairman of U..P.B.B.A Kunwar Shekar Vijender, General Secretary of U.P.B.B.A Mr. Vinod Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Shobhit University Dr. Anup Verma and official of U.P Government Mr. Navdeep Rinwa were present as special guests.
